I locked myself in my studio a few months back and created this 2-page spread to be used for a Klic-N-Kut Advertisement in Creative Keepsakes magazine. I designed all the files, delicately linked each piece and even stitched veins into each and every one of those sweet little leaves. Due to “staff changes” at CK Magazine…there was a mix-up and they used a previously published was used. Well, I will never get that weekend back but here is the AD that never was.

Super Cute Intern Lia
My “Super Cute Intern Lia” is now a cheerleader in High School and needed to make a GIANT POSTER for a fellow student. She sketched out the design and asked if I could assist her in cutting the letters and Volleyballs (close up…they really are paper volleyballs) for this project. Her Grandmother, Rosemary free-hand cut the octopus {didn’t she do a great job}. I think her project came out great!
Sorry friends…I just don’t have time to do these kinds of things with my current work load…this was just something special I did for sweet Lia.
